New solutions and R&D activity

In 2024, VusionGroup launched several new products, including EdgeSense, a digital shelf system, and VusionOX, an IoT operating system based on a Bluetooth protocol that the Group claims has improved performance, safety, and energy efficiency. This platform is designed to support a range of in-store applications including product location, digital signage, staff guidance, and real-time shelf analysis via a built-in micro-camera.

The Group also presented other solutions at NRF in New York, including:

  • VusionLive, an AI assistant and store data platform developed by Memory;
  • a new mobile version of Captana, its shelf intelligence tool;
  • and FreshConnect, designed to optimise fresh produce supply chains.

These innovations were developed across the Group’s nine R&D centres.

Outlook for 2025

VusionGroup has set an adjusted revenue target of €1.4 billion for 2025, representing expected growth of around 40%. The company forecasts approximately €600 million in revenue for the first half of the year and €800 million in the second half. First-quarter revenue growth is expected to be around 25%.

The Group says it remains confident in achieving the objectives of its strategic plan, “Vusion ‘27,” supported by its current backlog and market momentum, particularly in North America.

VusionGroup will once again be present at NRF Europe 2025, where it will showcase its latest technologies and developments aimed at supporting retailers in their ongoing digital transformation.
